May this be a place where we can take off our shoes, sit down for a few moments to share our thoughts, our ideas, or just what is on our hearts. So come on in, grab a cup of coffee or a beer, and let's talk!

I'm excited about this new place to share with everyone. Travis and I are having an exciting and challenging time in El Paso/Juarez right now. We really miss you all. At the same time we know this is where God has called us to be. We each got to build doubles (the bigger sized Casas por Cristo house) this past week. Travis led his own team in building while I went through training on how to build a double. It was a lot of information thrown at me that I hope I can remember. The family we built for was so thankful and sweet. The father was a construction worker, so he helped us with so much of the building. It never ceases to amaze me how God can be so good that he would give me the chance to build someone a house. Me...who knows nothing about construction. Building a house for a man who knows everything about construction...yet didn't have the right economic status to build his own house. God is really moving here at Casas por Cristo and it is so refreshing to see people constantly putting hands and feet on the beliefs they have. Anyway, y'all should send me an email sometime. Travis and I will be building two different houses again this week. Ah...good times Bye.

I just changed the look of the blog because the titles were not showing up and there is no way to change the color of it. Hmmph! I liked the color scheme too!
