Casas por Cristo
After spending four days in Mexico building a house for a family, I am sure that there are many things that we could say about our trip. I would invite you to share your thoughts about the trip here for all to read and be encouraged by what took place in the summer of 2006.
You can also check out some pictures from our trip here and check out Casas por Cristo, the mission we worked with.
I would have to say one of the highlights of the trip was just the bonding that took place within the group as well as the people we served in Mexico. We were able to remove barriers that keep people from getting to know each other and walked away from our trip with a stronger sense of being family in the Kingdom. Not only did we grow together, we also demonstrated to the world that we can work as one regardless of gender, race, language, and age. It was truly a beautiful picture of the Kingdom of God!
