This chapter leads us into the beginning of Jesus's ministry. There is so much to learn in this chapter. Here are a few questions to help us dig deeper.
What is one thing that you don't think that you could live without?
Jesus went into the desert area and fasted for 40 days. Why did He choose to do this to prepare Himself for ministry?
What three areas of life do the temptations Jesus faces relate to? Which one is your biggest struggle?
How did Jesus overcome the temptations?
What means or methods does Satan use to tempt Jesus?
Why does Jesus move from Nazareth to Capernaum?
As Jesus begins to recruit men, who does He choose?
How do they respond?
These men left a lot behind when they chose to follow Jesus. What are some things that you have had to leave behind to follow after Him?
